The Lithopolis Local Live- Summer Series shows are hosted every Thursday night in June, July and August. These shows are Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area (D.O.R.A.) events, drink responsibly.
New Mother Nature is an eclectic alternative rock band with a comfy jam and energizing groove. The four-piece started playing together in October of 2024 and has been producing great vibes on stages in the area ever since. The band features Jess LauRen and Haley Blasing as the lead vocalists/songwriters, Luka Brkljacicon bass and Maddy Lambrix on drums. The band has an ever-growing list of originals, but they mix up each live performance with covers from Grateful Dead, The Rolling Stones, Nirvana and Eilen Jewell.
Holling is the scrappy folk-rock songwriting and recording project of Henry Schuellerman, with help from friends. Based in Columbus, Ohio, the songs embody their environment— mostly crafted in a wood-paneled sunroom using fussy organs, old guitars, creaky pedal steel, and the kind of quiet reflection that usually occurs when driving around the Midwest late at night. Influence is drawn from artists such as Neil Young, Tom Waits, Gillian Welch, John Fahey, Sparklehorse, and the like.
