Shampoo for the Monks was born in the basements and backyards of Athens, Ohio. The band draws from a verity of blues, rock n’ roll inspirations and plays whatever else feels right in the moment. They don’t; take themselves too seriously on stage, but their energy stays with you long after each performance like the song that plays at the end credits of your favorite movie.
ATTESA is a six-piece, female-fronted indie rock band from Columbus playing original music. They cite bands like The Strokes, Arctic Monkeys, Led Zeppelin, and Queens of the Stone Age as key influences, and it shows. The songs are guitar-driven and direct, with enough edge to keep things interesting. Throw in a bit of Argentinian fire and Spanish bleeding into the lyrics, and you get a band that plays with everything they’ve got, chasing that moment when the energy hits the crowd and bodies start moving in the pit. Honest, passionate, and just getting started.
